Dr. Logan Smith
Dr. Logan is excited to welcome you to Smith Dental Team! He is a very compassionate dentist who enjoys building relationships with his patients and serving their personal needs. He looks forward to being able to provide you with the same level of quality care you have come to know and expect. Dr. Logan is passionate about optimal dental health for his patients and is committed to always treating each patient as an individual.
Logan grew up in Waterford, MI and followed both his dad and older brother into a career in dentistry. He attended Michigan State University (Go Green!) where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. He then went on to earn his DDS degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. In past years, Logan has had the opportunity to practice dentistry throughout both the greater Grand Rapids and Metro-Detroit areas. He met the love of his life, Monica (formerly, Monica Moorman), while in college and they decided to settle here closer to her family.
Dr. Logan prides himself on continuously practicing on the cutting edge of modern dental care. He has studied extensively in the areas of dental occlusion, implants, oral surgery (extractions), endodontics (root canals), clear aligner orthodontics, and cosmetic dental treatment. He’s excited to be able to offer these services to our patients, making it so more treatment can be done right here in our office.
Children’s oral health is also a passion of Dr. Logan’s. He finds great joy in working with young kids to ensure they have a great first experience at the dentist and then ultimately maintain good oral health throughout their lifetime.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, West Michigan District Dental Society, Pankey Alumni Association, and the LD Pankey Study Club of West Michigan.
Logan and his wife Monica live in Jenison with their son, Brock, daughter, Lydia and goldendoodle, Tula. Logan and Monica love all things West Michigan and are grateful to call it home. Logan enjoys ice hockey in the winter and can be found biking, hiking, boating and spending time with their friends and family in the summer.
